This place is strongly upgraded from the past. A very agreeable atmosphere, natural light in a very cozy way and a very nice use of materials for the interior. The service was good, but not perfect and we had the impression that the waiter didn't understand what we needed. Also they were understaffed for the amount of clients present. One of the waiters was working hard, had an earpiece in, but had zero empathy with the clients. No smile, no time, just work. This gives a very unwelcome atmosphere. The food was good, we had a 2 person chateaubriand with a good taste and texture, however, the portion received wasn't enough for two persons, not even by far enough. So that is a pity otherwise I would have been able to give 5 stars for the food. Same thing for the cheese plate that I took as dessert, the taste was good, however, not enough, probably because the main dish wasn't sufficient either I still felt hungry afterwards. This is not how they will retain recurrent clients. I will probably not go back because of this reason and I hope the owners will correct this. If you go, discuss about the quantity of the portions upfront.

Het was mijn eerste bezoek na de grote renovatie. Wat is dit een prachtige en rustige oase geworden met een mooi restaurant , open bar aan de voorkant en een grote tuin met tafeltjes en parasol. Steeds bevinden de klanten zich in een groene omgeving met relaxerend gevoel. De bediening is vlug en vriendelijk. Absolute aanwinst voor de streek rond de gemeente Schoten.

14 dagen geleden perfect heretekalf.Nu saus veel te veel gepeperd, wat maaltijd verprutste, ondanks kwaliteit vlees.
Geen reactie op de opmerkingen(zelfs geen compensatie koffie)
Heb geplande fooi achterwege gelaten.

Gezellig dineren of iets drinken in een aangenaam en stijlvol (inmiddels, gemoderniseerd) kader met vriendelijke en correcte bediening.
Buitenterras aanwezig.
Voldoende parkeerplaatsen in de straat.

We stopped here on a whim as I've passed it many times. Dined with a friend for cocktails and snacks. We had the edamame, meat balls, beef tataki, homemade croquettes, and asparagus. The food was delicious. As it was the two of us, we ordered far too much food, but it was worth sampling a bit of everything. Thankfully, the portions are not huge and are just enough for two to taste. The service was a bit slow, but not her fault. She was the only one there and was doing what she could. Two servers in the afternoon would have helped. We were there for almost 2 hours and it was just her. The atmosphere is lovely. Sitting outside in the sun was a welcome opportunity to have some good wine and good food!

2x gaan eten nu. Als he met 2 gaat heb je weinig plek en wordt je dicht tegen een ander gezet.

Het is niet goedkoop, prijzen zijn duur. Check de website.

Bediening is vriendelijk maar werkt niet echt gestructureerd, heb de indruk dat ze een "leider" missen. Werden verschillende dingen vergeten.

Eten is lekker, maar weinig en je moet voor alles bijbetalen. Vb, 5,5 euro voor wat sla met kerstomaatjes en wat azijn, terwijl je hoofdgerecht al in de 30 euro kost... coupé aarbei = 2 kleine bollen en 4 aardbeien 12 euro + 2 euro voor een klein potje slagroom. Dat is jammer.

Sfeer is goed en het restaurant is mooi ingericht.

Nieuwe eigenaars ( keitoffe mensen) met hetzelfde personeel en dito kaart ( lichte wijzingen), maar absoluut top! Nu niet enkel restaurant maar ook café/loungebar met finger foods.
Absolute aanrader nu: de garnaal kroketten en de mosselen, de halve kreeft met knoflook boter. Je ziet ons zeker terug.
